When I was outside on our cabin's porch in Idyllwild, California, I saw this squirrel and went to get the camera. When I came back, he was sitting on a rock. He sat on the rock and posed for me for a few minutes turning his head in different directions. After he had sat there for a while, he jumped off the rock, stood there for a few seconds, and plop! He laid down with his legs sticking strait out. He laid there for a very long time and I got quite a few pictures. After I got the pictures he staid there so I went inside. Squirrels are so funny!

We're hitting the road today for a trip exploring the west. With planned stops in Idyllwild California, Sequoia National Park, and other places to be determined, we're sure to pick up some great captures.

Since I am not too sure of what type of connectivity (if any) I'll have for my dad's MacBook, I'm posting this in anticipation of it being my latest update for a week or so.

Vacation Bible School

Today we started VBS (Vacation Bible School). If you don't know what VBS is, it is a event that normally lasts for one week of summer. You do things like play games, sing songs, eat snacks, make crafts, and watch short little movies! It is so much fun! I got to be a crew leader this year. My little sister is my assistant crew leader. In the picture, I am the one in the middle, my sister is the one on the left, and the one on the right is Rachel. I invited two friends to VBS, Alix and Alexis. I am lovin' VBS this year and I think my friends are too.

Today we went rappelling in Hidden Haven. It was about a two hour hike up the mountain and about three hours to rappel down a four different waterfalls. In this picture I am on the first waterfall and about half way down. If you look closley I am soaked! It was very cold but it was worth it!

In this picture, my dog, Ziggy, is waiting for my sister to toss him his squeaky ball. I was origanally trying to get a picture of Ziggy catching the squeaky ball in mid-air but that didn't work out too well so I just got a picture of him waiting for the ball.

For the summer, I will be making posts every Monday and Friday.

It is very fun piling up toys in front of my dog and taking his picture. I love how he seems to happy just sitting there with his toys. I also love how my other dog in the background is licking her nose. Those two cute things make this a very cute picture!
